MERRY CHRISTMAS

It has indeed been a full energetic year 2012. Weddings, a lot of child photography, many newspaper and company photoshoots. Last but not least it has been artistically one of the best years in my life when it comes to my project "Just People" - you can follow it closer at www.justpeople.me.
So thank you everybody for the good moments spent together in the studio or outside. I wake up every morning and I say to myself that I have the best passion ever and that my job is not a job it's a lifestyle, a way of living and giving hopefully some joyfull moments to the persons I photograph.

CV bild

Many people come to the studio to take their CV picture taken, or portrait picture for their Linked IN or Facebook site.

The procedure is simple and easy.  After a short introduction I decide which is your best side of the face to portrait. We all have different faces and the right side is never like the left one.
Normally we have a younger side and one that makes us look older. So we choose of course the younger one and then, when the light is set we work on the expression we want to reach for the viewer.

Depending on the needs it can be a more serious portrait or a very smiley, but never too much. It should be serious but inviting.

And the most important thing in my eyes...are THE EYES, the energy that comes from the eyes, because they are the key to our soul.

When we finally sit down on the computer and have chosen THE picture, I will make sure that you will have both a colour one and a black and white for different occasions. See exempel below.

Memories of Denmark

I found a brochure from our holidays in Denmark last year and I immediately thought...I my God, the pictures...I completely forgot about them.

So, here I share with you some of the pictures taken during an evening walk at Stenbjerg in Thy , right in the middle of the Thy's national park. Here you can find some fishermen's huts, close to dunes, ehath and forestry plantation.  People come here by bike and then take a walk on the long beach.

WEDDING IN NOVEMBER

What do you do if you decide to marry during the winter months and it's cold and rainy outside?
Well there are a few options to choose from:

1) in the studio.
2) on location outside in the nature and hopefully with no rain or snow or why not maybe we get these weather conditions as opportunities to make some exceptional different shots an those you would get in a warm studio :-)
3) on location in a building, house, hotel, lobby, station, you name it.

And so this was the case last saturday when I photographed Christina and Peter at the Centralstation of Göteborg.  After applying for the necessary photo permission, we had one hour to spend at the station.

Here I would like to share with you two of the pictures from that moment.

REDAKTIONELL

Hej allihopa! Hi everybody!

It was a while since I wrote last on my blogg but there were many things happening.

First of all the vernissage under the Cultural Night in Goteborg (Kulturnatta) the 12th of October where over 100 persons find their way into my little studio. It was really overwhelming to see so many people, laughing, crying and thinking after seeing the pictures. The cover picture of my book got such a great exposure in the cultural program that I got extremely happy and surprised about it.

One of the picture MUSIC MAKER whom I competed for the 1st Swedish International Small Print Exhibition got nominated and will be shown at the art museum in Ystad from the 9th of December to the 13th of January. So if you pass pay Ystad during this time check the exhibition!
The photographed basplayer Peter, a collegue of mine, got interviewed by the local newspaper and here you will find the link for the article that just came out.
