CHILD YEAR

2013 it has been a happy Child year. Lots of Children found their way to my studio and I had the honour to photograph them, sometimes by themself, sometimes with the family.
So here som of  the Pictures form last year.

CV bild

Many people come to the studio to take their CV picture taken, or portrait picture for their Linked IN or Facebook site.

The procedure is simple and easy.  After a short introduction I decide which is your best side of the face to portrait. We all have different faces and the right side is never like the left one.
Normally we have a younger side and one that makes us look older. So we choose of course the younger one and then, when the light is set we work on the expression we want to reach for the viewer.

Depending on the needs it can be a more serious portrait or a very smiley, but never too much. It should be serious but inviting.

And the most important thing in my eyes...are THE EYES, the energy that comes from the eyes, because they are the key to our soul.

When we finally sit down on the computer and have chosen THE picture, I will make sure that you will have both a colour one and a black and white for different occasions. See exempel below.

PERSONAL TRAINER

"I need some pictures for my homepage and portfolio" - "I need to get in shape" - I replied.
"Great" - he said.   "ouch" - I said after the first gym pass and my inability to walk for 3 days.

LIFE GOES ON...

Annamaria was born in Italy and moved for love to Sweden for an italian man.
She settled down in Gothenburg and owned for many years a frame shop. She painted in her spare times, she teached others in schools and had many art exhibition herself. She is an artist!
I met Annamaria many year ago, before she retired, in her little shop not far away from where I have today my photostudio and of course we started talking, italian.
I admire Annamaria. She has a wonderful energy, always up for a laugh though life hasn't been that nice all the time. She tells funny stories and fights to go on with life! So of course I wanted her in my project. Here I show you a vulnerable picture that I love a lot. A portrait of an artist.

FLAMENCO DANCER

José Campos has been dancing Flamenco since his childhood. He has competed in ballroom several years. 100% spanish full bloded music crazy guy that has been raised up in Sweden.
I have known José for a few years now. He has been my model earlier and as weel my assistant in the studio last year.
It was a sure thing that I wanted to portrait him!

ART PROJECT GOING ON

and yesterday I had Henrik Rinascimento from Brazil, a photographer collegue. Well we had some fun in the studio and this is the result of one week thinking!

Today I would like to share a pregnant picture with you.
Little Miranda is still there in her cosy belly and having a good time with her mom.
Really looking forward to see her in a few weeks for her first ever photoshoot.

MY JOB HAS CONTRASTS!

and I love it! One day you photograph the cutest children ever, another you take care of loving couples on their wedding day, then again you can have a cat hiding among the stuff in the studio before getting actually one single good shot and then you have J. a 56 year old man that wants to have some fine art nude.

It was like painting with the camera. It was like I was pulled back in time and then those pictures were born.

CHILDREN ARE JUST ...

....so wonderful .   A harmless friendship kiss between Alvin and Alva. 
This pictures reminds a little bit the 80-ies when I was "younger" and collected posters from Sarah Kay.

FIRST STEPS

This is an example how you can hang on the wall pictures taken in the studio. I photographed little Ivar holding his parents hands from both side. We ordered a special PP (passe-partout) in black and put it together in a lovely frame. Two pictures in one frame! Isn't that just wonderful?

GIRLY DIANA

I was really looking forward to start with my children shoots again after holidays. First in the studio 2012 is little Diana, 8 month old, with such a lovely flower in the hairs and a adorable skirt. A little ballerina.
Here 2 pictures I like a lot from the day.

AFTER CHRISTMAS

Strange enough Christmas feeling never hit me this year. Easter feelings more, if we look at the weather we have had the last days. So it felt kinda normal to go back to work.
The day started with a company portrait and went on with a modelshooting with Gustaf , who for the very first time was in front of a professional camera and never modelled before.
It's always inspiring to see how certain people are made to be in front of the camera!

HARRY OLIVER

And suddenly one day I got a phone call from Norrland. "We would like to take pictures of one of our actors in Gothenburg" said the gentle voice on the other side of Sweden. "Sure, no problem". "We need a picture of him that we can put together as a collage with the pictures of the other actors".
A few days later actor Joakim Hedman from Gothenburg, that also played at Sunset Boulevard at the Gothenburg Opera came smiling to my humble studio with a bag full of clothes and hats.
We tried out a few poses and after one hour I had enough material to send to my customer.
And here is the result! Joakim is the guy with the blue hat.

AMANDA GOES CURIOUS

A wonderful little girl with plenty of energy and curiousity. She loves flowers. So her great parents took some yellow flowers to the studio for the shoot. We played as usually and then suddenly she put the flowers on the little chair and disappeared behind. And up she came and framed herself with the chair. I got in love in this picture, so spontaneous, so real. No fake, no do this, do that. She just did.

BRÖDER

Here we have two cool boys, brothers. I like the fact of equal clothes coz the focus runs on their faces and personality instead. We had really a lot of fun together!

BACK FROM HOLIDAYS

So now I am back from my short summer holidays and took me one day off from customers to finish som CD's for them. The telephone starts to ring again but I feel it's still cool and no stress.

Before I start working on my holidays pictures here some of the pictures taken just before I left 2 weeks ago.
