NORWAY

Hello again,
I have been travelling for a few days, first to Norway and then I just escaped from there to go back to Sweden.
Both the weather and the country Norway (at least the region I visited around Gjovik) didn't really turned me on, actually I got so depressed of seing that landscape that reminded me Switzerland and the bad weather that I decided to escape 3 days after.

But there is one good memory of those day and it was one evening when I all alone, just me and the nature around 10.00 pm sat down on a rock and looked at that sky. Magic indeed, those colours .... those colours you will never find in Switzerland.....

Gustaf came for the second time to take some portfolio picture both in the studio and outside.  
After 6 months of hard training the result was clearly to see! Check out those six-pacs. Great photoshoot,
great model, great day! Thank you Madde for a great make-up and José for helping out with the umbrella out in the poring rain.

ACRILIC GLAS

Acrilic glas is a marvellous option to have your pictures print on... stable material, weather resistand, unbreakable.
Here an example that I just ordered for one of my customers. Newborn daddy Fredrik and his little son Jesper are the models!

The acrilic glas will give the black bakground the extra touch of luxury and sparkling and hopefully a lot of joy in their home.

EQUIPMENT RACE

PLAYING AROUND WITH EQUIPMENT

Friend and collegue José passed by earlier this week. We started confronting different kind of lenses.

What is the difference between 70-200 mm / 2.8 and the macro 100 mm, 2.8 which I discovered lately as a great portrait lense. So we took out neighbour Arash and played in front of the studio. Well, the 70-200 mm, gives a more smoother feeling while the 100 mm, that has a wonderful bouquet (unsharpness behind the object) is crispier. Love both of the lenses though.

EMOTION IN FLOWERS

Today I feel rebellion.... this long week-end I tried out my  brand new camera (Canon 5D Mark III) together with my macro lens 100 mm / F2.8, wonderful lens by the way.
I am not a flower photographer but today in my rebellion mood I changed those pictures in my way. Here some of the works.

BUSINESS PORTRAIT HOW YOU CAN USE IT

Many small companies rely just on text for their homepage or blogg.
But people don't have time nowadays to read and read and read, they want short messages and pictures that tells a story.

Here I send you an exemple of one of my customers that uses in the right way one of the portrait pictures we took in the studio last month.

With her Companý   CECILIA of SWEDEN she sends out newsletter to her customer to show how she can help with nutrition and healthy way of living.

PERSONALITIES & PASSIONS WANTED!

I am in the middle of producing my first photobook and following exhibition.

I am looking for  YOU!!
A person with personlity or a big passion or a message that you want to deliver to the world.

Male, Female, Children, every age.

As you can see in the picture all the persons will be posing naked, but it's You who decides how much you want to show.
Why naked? Because I want to reach the persons story, not how we are dressed in today's society. I want to take away what clothes give illution of....

All persons will be portrayed with respect and in accordance to eachothers wishes.

Here some exemples I would love to have in my book:

Female with trombon or trumpet
Female with 4-5 cats
Female passionate for cars
Male passionate for gardening

You name it....the list can be real long.

COLOUR OR BLACK & WHITE?

In the digital photo world possibilities are various. Sometimes a portrait looks better in black & white then in colour, sometimes it's the opposite. What is more important to show?
Black & White makes the personality come forward. Colours take away the attention from the person and people tend to look at the make-up, or the jewelry, or the clothes.
In this specific case I choose a picture that can work both ways and where it's up to the customer to decided which one is the one they like most.
