Vourvoulos - Santorini

Last year I got married and my husband and I spend a week honeymoon in Santorini. As usually we rent a car and drive around  even though it's a small Island.

One day we did the northern part of the Island and stopped in a tiny Place called Vourvoulos beach. No human beeing beside me and my husband, a wild sea and a Lovely sun.

Amazing Little harbour

Doors into Caves in the harbour

A stranded boat in Vourvoulos

Just the two of us and our rental car

On the way back we say this funny Place. Guess where the people on the Island learn to drive the car.

And when you can't drive your car anymore, it's what you do with it.... just let nature take over!

LES CALANQUES DE PORTE MIOU

Marseille and its surroundings are knows for something called "Calanques". What is that?
It's a natural inlet. The Mediterranean Sea just cuts between the land and forms these magnificent places, like the picture above. French people like to walk and spend their week-ends out in the nature. You will find here a lot of people taking a bath, or just simply enjoy a pic-nic here with the whole family.

In Cassis you will find the entrance to the Port Miou Calanque, really worth trakking and enjoying the sun, the pine trees and the allround atmosphere.

....longing for the winter season....

NOT, but it has it's beauty. Those pictures where taken winter 2010 in Varberg, wonderful place. It was pretty much cold, we passed the famous bathing house and there were naked girls taking a bath among the ice blocks. Anyway....for a foreigner like me it was a dreamy landscape and so different from the alps. Varberg is one of my favourite places in Sweden.
Not that I hope that the next winter should be that long again, but it was much better then the grey, rainy winters of the previous years here in my new homecountry.

SKAGEN

Wild sea and the sandsinking Church are two of the attraction that you can find in Skagen.

A marvellous place, I can for sure say one of my top-10 places in the world. The light is amazing and it's worth visiting it even in autumn when there are no tourist and you can feel the nature how strong and powerful it is.
