Santo Cielo!! Che maestoso!
I visited Milano a few times, but this time I made it up on the roof of Milano's cathedral.
Started to built in 1386 it was only finished 1965. Still there are works to do all the time.
157 long, 92 wideand 45 meters max. height. 220 stairs to climb up to the top of the roof, where you have a fantastic view over Milano (if you are lucky to see through the mist).
5 Euro to climb by yourself and 7 euro if you take the elevator. And if you have a press card, forget it, it has no value. Italy has it own rules.
The cathedral is make in marble bricks and it's really sooooooo beautiful. So next time I visit Milano I will go inside, little by little to discover on of the world leading fashion cities.
